Aww, MJ Lastimosa And Rabiya Mateo Shared The Sweetest BFF Appreciation Pics

It's no secret that Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo are super close.

When Rabiya received criticism for not wearing the headpiece that went with her national costume, MJ was quick to defend the Ilongga beauty queen, noting that the accessory actually weighs *21 kilos.* MJ was also physically present at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant in Florida to show her support for Rabiya. 

On June 7, Monday, the two posted the sweetest BFF appreciation posts on Instagram.

"Sisterhood. Love you @mj_lastimosa," Rabiya wrote in her post, which featured the two goofing around in San Francisco. Aww.

MJ also posted cute photos with Rabiya, where we can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

"Gara ng mga Ilongga, o," MJ wrote. MJ grew up in North Cotabato and attended elementary and high school in the municipality of Tulunan, which has a significant Ilonggo population.
