Could you imagine another actress as Teddie Salazar in the 2013 *classic* Four Sisters And A Wedding? Well, this ALMOST happened because Toni Gonzaga, aka Teddie, actually tried to back out of the film twice! *Gasps* During an interview with Boy Abunda on her online show I Feel U, Toni talked about her previous films to celebrate her 20th anniversary in showbiz, specifically Four Sisters

Why Toni tried to back out of Four Sisters And A Wedding

"Tito Boy, dalawang beses akong nagpunta kay Tita Malou noon," Toni shared, referring to Malou Santos, who was Star Cinema's chief operating officer. "Talagang I was begging off.

Toni explained that this was because she was intimidated by her co-stars, including her "sisters" in the film: Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, and Shaina Magdayao. "Lahat sila mga queen in their own rights and they were all best actresses already during that time. Toni added that Malou Santos told her she HAD to do it, and that she ended up having a lot of fun on set!

Four Sisters And A Wedding tells the story of the Salazar sisters who reunite and work together to ~stop~ the wedding of their baby brother Rebreb (Enchong Dee). Along the way, old issues crop up and the sisters are forced to confront each other—and their mom. It's funny, heartwarming, and heart-wrenching at the same time. The film was such a hit, there was even a prequel released in 2020 called Four Sisters Before The Wedding
