Read Lucy Torres' *Love Letter* For Richard Gomez On Their 23rd Wedding Anniversary
Lucy Torres and Richard Gomez have a love story that's all their own: Small town girl meets her celebrity crush. She likes him, he likes her. They fall in love and end up married for 23 years and counting. Always expressing her love through words, Lucy penned a belated wedding anniversary message for Richard on Instagram. She reminisced about Richard's special trip to Ormoc, Leyte—where Lucy's family is from—back in December 1997:
"Here we are, that one night in December, at my parents' home. It was during this trip you made to Ormoc City that you proposed to me. 4 months later, on April 28, 1998, I walked down the aisle of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Church into your arms and into your life as your wife."
She then wrote a short but sweet love letter for Richard and said, "23 yesterday. My dearest @richardgomezinstagram, you are my safe place, my courage, my fun and adventure. And the more I know you, the more I love you."
Their daughter Juliana Gomez also posted a series of candid and extremely loving photos of her parents and wrote, "23 years of the sweetest love I've ever known."
