Rabiya Mateo's Miss Universe Stylist Reveals How She Hasn't Always Been Confident About Her Style

Rabiya Mateo has been in the United States since April 10 as part of her journey to win the Miss Universe crown, and the beauty queen has surely been impressing fans so far with her outfits and overall appeal.

According to her stylists Rain Dagala and Em Millan, however, Rabiya hasn't always been confident with her sense of fashion. According to Rain, Rabiya even admitted during their first session that it has never been her strength.

"Nung pumunta si Rabiya sa amin, parang she was really a blank canvas. Aminado siya na fashion was not her strength. So nung pumunta siya sa amin, care of Mama Jonas [Gaffud] and sina Mau [De Leon], parang sinabi niya na, 'Help me kasi gusto ko ma-discover yung personal style ko as we go along.'"

Thankfully, Rabiya found what works for her with help from the pros. According to Rain, the beauty queen's style leans more now on clothes that can showcase her confidence and sexiness.

And that's not all, too. Rain promised that Rabiya will be rocking more head-turning outfits as the pageant comes near.
