Neil Arce Just Shared The Sweetest Birthday Greeting For Angel Locsin

Neil Arce sure knows how to do birthday greetings right. The film producer dedicated the sweetest AND cutest message for fiancee Angel Locsin by posting a cute childhood photo of her on Instagram.

The photo shows a kid Angel enjoying what seems to be a spoonful of soup with the caption: "Sa maga taong hindi nakakaalam, ito po ang rason kung bakit hindi po siya nag-eendorse ng soup. Happy happy birthday my love!!! I wish you a lifetime of content[ment] and happiness and I promise you I would contribute a lot for you to be content and happy. Continue doing what you are doing, I'll be beside you all the way. I love you."

The actress is celebrating her 36th birthday this April 23.

The pair revealed their engagement in 2019 and was supposed to get married in November 2020. They postponed their plans, however, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They also shared that they will be pushing through with their plans this year.

In other news, Angel is currently at the center of controversy after a senior citizen passed away while participating in the community pantry drive that she held for her birthday in Maginhawa Street, Quezon City. According to reports, the event was not coordinated well with the local government so crowd control and health protocols were not observed during the drive. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte announced an official statement about the matter, reminding everyone that while the city fully supports such initiatives, all efforts should be done in coordination with the local government unit.

Angel, meanwhile, says that she is taking responsibility for the situation. In her Instagram post, the actress explained what happened. She also clarified that she did coordinate with the LGU but that the number of people who showed up was too big to be properly managed by crowd control.
