Awww, Youn Yuh Jung Had The Most Adorable Moment With Brad Pitt At The Oscars
Heartwarming awards show update: Youn Yuh Jung is now an Oscar winner for her work in Minari. This makes Yuh Jung the first Korean (and second-ever Asian) woman to win Best Supporting Actress in the history of the Academy Awards! While hopping on stage to collect her lil gold statuette—which was given to her by the one and only Brad Pitt, NBD—Yuh Jung made us all lol about getting to meet him for the first time: "Mr. Brad Pitt, finally. Nice to meet you. Where were you when we were filming in Tulsa? It's an honor to meet you."
This insanely cute, totally hilarious moment in question:

Yuh Jung then proceeded to give an amazing speech, which went in part:
"Me being here by myself? This I can't believe. Let me pull myself together. I don't believe in competition. How can I win over Glenn Close? I've been watching so many of her performances. I have a little bit of luck, I think. I'm luckier than you. Or maybe it's the American hospitality for the Korean actor, I'm not sure...I'd like to thank my two boys who made me go out and work. This is the result, because mommy worked so hard."
But Yuh Jung and Brad's moment didn't just stop at her speech—backstage, Yuh Jung and Brad got to meet up for real this time in the press room, which has given us this truly beautiful photo opp:
