Hyun Bin Said The *Most Kilig* Things About Son Ye Jin After Filming Their 2018 Movie 'The Negotiation'

One of the highlights of our new year was when it was confirmed that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are dating! You guys, nagkatototoo ang wish natin! Since we're still over the moon thanks to this good news, we did a little digging about the two.

Did you know that Hyun Bin and Ye Jin first worked together in 2018 in the Korean movie, The Negotiation?  Soompi describes the blockbuster film as a story "about an arms dealer who precipitates a hostage situation in Thailand (Hyun Bin) and the police negotiator brought in to handle the crisis (Son Ye Jin)."

Here's something nakakakilig: Apparently, Hyun Bin loved working with Ye Jin so much that he actually wished to work with her again, and hoped that that the next time, they'd work more closely together. 

In an interview with Esquire Korea in 2019, before the premiere of Crash Landing On You, the 38-year-old actor said: “There are times when I feel great charm and thrill from seeing the actor opposite me show unexpected acting. There’s also a thrill to my own reaction to that acting. While filming The Negotiation, I saw that in Son Ye Jin, so I thought, ‘I want to try working with her again.’ At the time, [we had filmed separately], so I wanted to try acting with her in the same space, making eye contact, and breathing the same air, and that opportunity came quickly.” KILIGGGGGGG! <3

And we know what came next: The pair led the top-rating Netflix K-drama Crash Landing On You. Hyun Bin played the role of a North Korean solider named Ri Jeong Hyeok or Captain Ri and Ye Jin transformed into Yoon Se Ri, an heiress and businesswoman who accidentally lands on North Korean soil after a paragliding accident. Thanks to CLOY, the two met again, got to know more about each other, and realized their feelings when they missed each other after the drama wrapped up! Sweet!

Right now, Hyun Bin is preparing for his upcoming movie Bargaining while Ye Jin is reported to star in the Hollywood film, Cross. Here's to hoping that we get to see them again in another project!
