Here's Where 'Record Of Youth' Really Filmed Their Milan Fashion Week Scenes
Record Of Youth may have already wrapped up, but there are still quite a few cool new facts about it that we've just learned. Remember in Episode 2 when Sa Hye Jun (Park Bo Gum) was still a struggling model and booked his first gig with Jjamppong Entertainment? Hye Jun and his new manager Lee Min Jae (Shin Dong Mi) flew to Milan for Hye Jun's runway show at Milan Fashion Week.

When I watched the ep, I legit thought they filmed the Milan scenes in Italy—but in reality, Record Of Youth's production crew never left South Korea. All the Milan scenes were apparently shot in the Paju English Village in Paju City, Gyeonggi Province.

Paju City is around an hour's drive up northwest from Seoul and is known for its quirky and artistic cafes. The Paju English Village was built with European-style architecture, hence, making it Record Of Youth's local substitute for Milan! According to TripZilla, the village also houses student dormitories and "offers Korean students a unique educational environment for learning the English language."

The village was actually shut down in 2016 due to a low visitor count, but it's now open—save for its shops and cafes—for tourists to roam around in.
