Donnalyn Bartolome Unboxes All The Stuff Her ~Ex~ Returned To Her

In her most recent video upload on YouTube, singer and internet personality Donnalyn Bartolome got candid about her last relationship as she unpacked boxes that contained the things her ex sent back to her.

According to Donnalyn, she has been dealing with her breakup for six months now. They have been together, "on and off" as Donnalyn put it, for the last five years. Unfortunately, no matter how hard they tried to make it work, they were better off on their own. "I realized kasi that there are things in my life that's just not fit sa life niya," shares Donnalyn in the video.

The "Kakaibabe" singer did not name her ex and said that they had a private relationship. She did share that six of her songs are actually short snippets of their love story, namely, "Pag Siya", "Itatama Pa Ba O Tama Na", "Hindi Ako", "Sabi Niya", "Paskong Wala Ka", and "'Di Lahat."

As she goes through all the stuff her ex sent back to her, Donnalyn couldn't help but get emotional. One of the things in the box that made Donnalyn cry were BTS goodies that reminded her of how thoughtful her ex was. She was supposed to throw a BTS-themed party for her sister before the pandemic happened so her ex decided to buy the goodies for her.

Throughout the video, Donnalyn opened up about why their five-year relationship had to come to an end. "We can't be who we are to each other. We always tiptoe around each other," she shares. "Our lives are just so different, parang total opposite. I know, to a lot of people, they say na parang, being with someone is a choice and I've chosen to be with this person for a long time but it just...we love each other but we're not right for each other."
