The 'All Too Well' Dishwashing Scene Seriously Reminds Pinoys Of KathNiel In 'The Hows Of Us'

It's a safe bet we've all seen Taylor Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film *multiple times* by now, and Pinoys had the best reactions to it and the Red (Taylor's Version) album—as expected. One seriously important moment from the film is the confrontation that took place between Sadie Sink (Her) and Dylan O'Brien's (Him) characters while she was washing the dishes. We saw just how toxic their relationship was because he gaslighted her and then acted like everything was okay right after because he "didn't wanna fight." 

This brings us to The Hows Of Us, the hit 2018 Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla movie. For context: In the story, young couple George (Kath) and Primo (DJ) are living together and are pursuing their dreams. George is working and studying to be a doctor while Primo is in a band. His music career, however, isn't working out the way he expected it to and George ends up doing literally everything for the two of them. 

All Too Well and The Hows Of Us have a common "dishwashing scene"

In a viral clip from the movie captioned "All Too Well (Cathy Garcia-Molina Version) [From the Vault]," we see George washing the dishes (without freaking electricity), which leads to a confrontation with her red-flaggy boyfriend Primo. When George refuses to talk to him, Primo says "Kung galit ka sabihin mo sa'kin. Ano bang gusto mo? Nagmumukha naman along tanga dito e. Kung galit ka, murahin mo 'ko. Gusto mo ba saktan mo na lang ako?" and proceeds to use her arm to hit himself.

He repeatedly asks her if she's tired of being in the relationship until George finally explodes and says, "Oo, pagod na pagod na pagod na pagod na ako...Pagod na akong maglinis ng mga kalat mo. Pagod na akong magaral. Pagod na akong magtrabaho. Pagod na akong isipin kung paano mo nakakayang panoorin lang akong magkanda-kuba makakakuha lang ng pambayad sa kuryente at tubig. Habang ikaw, ayan, patuloy lang sa lintik na p***nginang passion na 'yan. Puro passion. Hindi tayo mapapakain ng passion na 'yan!"
