'No Third Party Was Involved' In Janine Gutierrez And Rayver Cruz's Breakup, Source Says

On November 15, PEP.ph reported that Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz had broken up. The stars, both 32, have been busy with their respective projects—Janine with ABS-CBN rom-com series Marry Me, Marry You, and Rayver with several GMA-7 shows, The Clash, All-Out Sundays, and Limitless: Heal. And it seems that working on these projects took a toll on their relationship.

According to PUSH, a source close to the couple confirmed their breakup and gave the following reasons that led to the split:

• "They haven't seen each other for a long time because of the lock-in tapings."
• "Perhaps they drifted apart."
• And emphasized that "no third party was involved."

Neither Janine nor Rayver has confirmed the news themselves but their social media activities would lead one to speculate the state of their relationship. Both of them have since deleted posts of each other with Janine keeping only some of her pics with Rayver from 2019 and earlier. Rayver, on his part, seems to have removed all of his pictures of Janine on his feed.

Janine and Rayver were first rumored to be dating in 2017 and made their first public appearance together at the 2017 Star Magic Ball. Through the years, they've kept quite a low-key relationship and sparingly shared pictures together. Their last social media update was on October 2, 2021, when Rayver posted a birthday tribute for Janine. The post has since been deleted.
