Ellen and Derek started as friends and officially became a couple in February 2021. They got engaged in March! Ellen shared in an Instagram Live with G3 Santiago back in April what made her decide Derek is "The One." Her answer explained it all: "Okay, first is the connection. It's the communication. And he [Derek] met me at the right time. He met me during the pandemic. I fixed myself, I worked on myself, I did a lot of inner work, so at that time [that we met], I knew what I wanted na. I knew what was good for me, I knew what was bad for me. And when I made better choices for myself, that's when things just started to come in and everything just made sense."

Today, November 11, 2021, Ellen and Derek got married in a beautiful, low-key outdoor ceremony, attended by their families and close friends. Austin and Elias, their sons from previous relationships, were present as well.
The bride wore a breathtakingly beautiful MARC RANCY creation for her big day. Sharing a touching message on Instagram Stories, the designer said "it was my pleasure to be your designer for the most important dress in your life. Thank you for making me part of your big day."
Makeup artist Mickey See gave Ellen a fresh look with soft pink tones, while and hairstylist Raymond Santiago created soft, loose waves for a more relaxed vibe. Perfect for a bride who enjoyed a Bali-inspired bridal shower!
Photographer Pat Dy shared several *stunning* shots of Ellen all glammed up, perfectly captured during the so-called golden hour.
