Jake Cuenca was arrested Saturday night after his SUV allegedly hit a police car.
According to Eastern Police District - NCR Police Director Police Brigadier General Matthew Bacay, the incident happened at around 9 p.m. on October 9.
A car chase ensued as the SUV did not stop, ending in the vicinity of Shaw Boulevard in Pasig City, where the driver was identified as Jake. Nothing illegal was found inside the vehicle.
During the chase, a Grab driver was hit by a stray bullet. He has been confirmed to be in stable condition already.
"In the course of the chase nila, yung mga personnel natin had to disable yung sasakyan, pinaputukan 'yung gulong. May tinamaan na Grab driver," said Bacay in a radio interview.
"This is a very unfortunate incident," Bacay added. "Walang may gusto nito."

Jake has undergone a medical examination as of Sunday morning and faces a complaint of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property.
