Here's your dose of tea today: The internet thinks that Ivana Alawi and Marco Gumabao are together because of a video that went viral recently. If you were on TikTok yesterday, October 12, you'd have noticed that one of the trending videos in the Philippines was of Ivana and Marco at a karaoke bar with friends. And upon closer inspection, you'd see Marco affectionately touch Ivana's thigh, which she seemed to be comfortable with.

This video brought about speculation that the two are dating, but according to PEP.ph, the video is actually old. For one, in the video, Ivana's hair ends right above her shoulders, whereas now, her hair is already below her shoulders. Another thing is that the video couldn't have happened in the pandemic because of strict social distancing and quarantine guidelines in the country.

Also on October 12, Marco happened to have an online press con for his new show with Julia Barretto titled Di Na Muli. The press subtly alluded to the viral video and asked if Marco is ~inspired~ right now. Marco briefly said, "Lagi naman akong inspired. Yes, I'm inspired."

Julia then spoke for her longtime friend and assured the press that Marco will talk about his personal life when he's ready: "I'm sure si Marco will talk about it when he's ready to talk about it. I think everyone is still in shock and he's still overwhelmed kasi si Marco is the type of guy na kapag private life niya, gusto niya private lang."

Ivana, on her part, has yet to address the issue.
