Maris Racal And Rico Blanco Got Vaccinated Together On Independence Day

Maris Racal and Rico Blanco celebrated Independence Day in a unique way. 

On June 12, Saturday, the celebrity couple got their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine together.

"Happy Independence Day! Magpabakuna ka na, bestie. #ingatangatbakunalahat," Maris wrote in an Instagram post, which featured a photo of her Rico showing proof of the jabs. Maris and Rico also happened to bump into Bianca Gonzalez, who was also scheduled for her vaccination that day.

"Buti nakasabay ko kayo kundi nakakabaliw mag-isa mag-isip," Bianca commented on Maris's post. "Congratulations to us, batchmates!! @ricoblanco100"

Rico also took to IG to share photos of their vaccination.

"Yayy first dose sa araw ng kalayaan. Tara, magpabakuna na, mga best friend! #ingatangatbakunalahat"

Maris, a huge fan of Rico, first tweeted about her admiration for him in 2017. They would later collaborate on a song, "Abot Langit," in 2019. In March 2021, Maris sparked rumors that they were together after posting a birthday greeting for Rico. During an interview with Boy Abunda in May 2021, Maris confirmed she and Rico were dating.

"Kami po ni Rico," she said. "I think basing sa post na ginawa ko, I think it's very obvious."
