Jessica Jung Has A *Huge* Collection Of Chanel Bags And We Are Obsessed
Jessica Jung has built a name for herself over the years—as a K-pop idol, actress, bestselling author, YouTuber, and CEO of her own luxury fashion brand. At the same time, she has also built quite a collection of designer bags and she showed them in her latest vlog!
According to Jessica, you can never go wrong with a quality purse because it instantly upgrades your outfit. Even if you're not wearing a full designer OOTD, a pretty bag is a key piece for that luxurious feel. It also changes your entire look no matter how simple your outfit is and makes you look effortlessly classy. We're taking notes, ma'am!
The 32-year-old shared that she started buying bags every year when she was young. Before she purchases one, she would think about it a lot first. Jessica believes that designer bags are "great investments" because their value goes up every year, so imagine how much that would be in a decade.
On why she particularly loves the luxury brand Chanel, she mentioned that they're timeless pieces and that you won't be able to tell the difference if it was bought a couple of months or 10 years ago. "They're items that will stay with you forever," she explained.
Jessica showed a number of her faves in her vlog and this includes a Mini Trendy CC Clutch With Chain. This cute bag is a gift from her sister, Krystal.
She also owns a lot of Chanel flap bags in different colors and sizes. To maintain their quality and shape, Jessica said that she only use some of her bags once a year.
To ~personalize~ her Chanel wallet on chain bag, Jessica asked for help from her friend who's a vintage artist. And the result is so pretty!
She also has a Chanel pearl flap bag that was given to her by her BFF from Hong Kong. Jessica shared that it's extra special because she couldn't purchase it in South Korea but since her friend knows her so well, she decided to buy it for her. Plus, it also reminds her of their fun trip abroad.
When asked if there's one Chanel bag that she would pick from her collection, Jessica answered it in a heartbeat. She chose a classic Chanel flap bag in black and described it as her "forever fave" and "forever BFF". It's because she traveled with that designer item around the world and it holds so many memories. Awww!
