On May 8, Saturday, the actor posted a cooking video on Instagram for a pasta brand, and in the caption made a special shoutout to Divine.

"A special treat for our mama!" Matteo's post read. "It’s not always easy to find the right way to express our feelings, but sometimes, a simple gesture like preparing a plate of pasta can truly become the best one."

Matteo ended the post by greeting his mother Glenna Fernan and "Mommy Divine" happy mother's day.

"Happy Mother’s Day to my mama Glenna and mommy Divine."

Matteo and Sarah got married on February 20, 2020. Reports circulated that Matteo allegedly punched the Geronimo family's bodyguard Jerry Tamara, which the actor denied in an interview. The incident was rumored to have happened after Divine "arrived unexpectedly" during the ceremony, after finding out the wedding was happening that evening. In March, Jerry accepted a settlement of P200,000 and no longer filed formal charges against Matteo.
