Wow! Shanti Dope's Song 'Amatz' Was Played In An Episode Of 'The Falcon And The Winter Soldier'

Pinoy rapper Shanti Dope a.k.a. Sean Patrick Ramos just made it into the Marvel universe.

That's because his song "Amatz" was featured in a scene on episode 3 of Disney+'s The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, an American television miniseries based on Marvel Comics characters Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame (2019). The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is the most-watched title overall globally for Disney+.

The original post from Shanti Dope's artist manager Thea Gomez Pollisco included a screenshot of the e-mail she received in December from a music supervisor at Marvel Studios.

"This is the second international collab inquiry for Shanti Dope; the first one Disney e-mailed us for Shanti’s collab with Sabrina Carpenter," Thea revealed, referring to the rapper's song "Almost Love Song" with the American singer in 2018. "Now Marvel naman at masaya kami dahil Amatz song pa."

"Amatz" made quite a headline when it was first released back in March 2019. Two years since its release, Shanti’s single is back making waves as it hits the international scene.
