This Might Be Lee Jong Suk's First Project After Being Discharged From The Military
In case you missed it, Lee Jong Suk enlisted in the South Korean military on March 8, 2019, a week after he finished filming Romance Is a Bonus Book. He was discharged on January 2, 2021.
And now, according to Soompi, Lee Jong Suk's return to K-dramas might find him in the role of a lawyer as the main character. He's currently looking into a project called Big Mouth, which is about a third-rate lawyer taking on a murder case. Soompi reports that the drama is a "record of the battles faced by a lawyer of the lower middle class who must become more evil than the villains, in order to protect himself and his family, and punish the bad guys."
Director Oh Choong Hwan—who led the series While You Were Sleeping, Hotel Del Luna, and Start-Up—will also be in charge of Big Mouth. If Lee Jong Suk agrees to star in it, filming will proceed in the latter half of 2021.
