Kim Chiu turned 31 years old yesterday, April 19, and received tons of gifts and a super-kilig birthday message from longtime boyfriend Xian Lim. He described himself as the "luckiest man in the world" and reminisced their very first date back in 2012: "I just want to say that I'm the luckiest man in the world to always have you by my side. Naaalala ko pa nung first date natin, you told me that you're worried that what we have might not last because of this crazy world we live in. Naysayers had their own versions of what they think we have. So many doubts, so many people trying to keep us apart. Many years later, nandito pa rin tayo para sa isa't isa, nagmamahalan na parang walang bukas."
Well, it seems that writing sweet messages runs in the blood because Xian's mom, Mary Anne Lim, also penned a loving Insta post for Kim! Mama Mary Anne posted a pic of the three of them during their Valentine's Day Coron trip earlier this year, and wrote, "Dearest Kim, Happy Birthday! Thank you for coming into Xian's life. As a mother, I want the best for my only child, and you give him happiness and love. Seeing him happy is more than what a mother could ask for."
ICYDK, Xian is super-close to his mom! He's an only child and moved back to the US with his mom when he was in grade school. Now that the 31-year-old actor is celebrating his ninth anniversary with Kim this year, it's only natural that his family has grown close to her as well. In fact, in their Valentine's Day vacay, Xian's mom and grandmother tagged along with them!
