Marvel Is Reportedly Working On 'Captain America 4'

Miss Captain America? Looks like we'll be seeing more of the iconic Avenger soon.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios is working on the fourth installment of the franchise with Martin Spellman, the creator and head writer of the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Dalan Musson, a staff writer of the same show.

Now, we've loved Chris Evans playing the shield-wielding character in all of The Avengers movies, so it's no surprise that we're all dying to know if he'll be making an appearance in Captain America 4. So far, there's been no confirmation of any of the main actors that will be part of the project, nor if Chris will be making a cameo.

If you remember, an elderly Steve Rogers gave Falcon his shield in Avengers: Endgame, which served as the jump-off point for the events in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where Falcon (played by Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes—aka the Winter Soldier (played by Sebastian Stan)—team up for a global adventure.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been Disney's most successful series debut so far. It premiered in March and just aired its final episode. Captain America 4 will probably be a continuation of Falcon's story, but we'll have to stay tuned to find out.
