The Penthouse: War In Life is a makjang series about the residents of an uber-exclusive residential building called Hera Palace and their children who study at the prestigious Cheong A Arts School. If you're a fan of over-the-top dialogue and scenes, this drama is for you! There's a lot of competition, infidelity, opera-singing, and—my favorite—murder. The Penthouse is currently airing its second season and has consistently stayed at the top of Korea's most-buzzworthy dramas and actors list.
If you can't get enough of the show, I suggest you listen to The Penthouse's official soundtrack (OST). Even the titles of the songs are super intense! Aside from the title track "Penthouse," we have "Bloody Hera Palace," "The Beginning Of Obsession," "Desperate Maternal Love," and "Unfair Death."
I swear, listening to the OST will make you feel like you're in your very own drama! If you need a playlist that'll get your heart pumping in the morning, or a new alarm to wake you up, this is the album for you. You'll get to *relive* the most dramatic and cry-worthy scenes (e.g. deaths) from the show. Manggigigil ka talaga!
