I Tried The TikTok-Famous DIY Scrub To See If It Can Give Me Super Soft Skin

One thing you should know about me is I love a good DIY moment, whether it's coloring my hair or cutting my own bangs. So when I came across this hack from TikTok that says mixing together A Bonne Spa Milk Salt and sunflower oil will create a scrub that will give you super soft skin, I *knew* I had to try it out for myself. Read on for my review:

TikTok-Famous DIY Scrub Review

The Ingredients

• A Bonne Spa Milk Salt
• Sunflower oil
• Clean container
• Spoon

The Process

Obtaining the ingredients and items needed was easy enough since the A Bonne Spa Milk Salt and sunflower oil were both available in the drugstore—yay for accessibility! I also appreciate how affordable they are for their *big* sizes.

As for making the body scrub paste, it was pretty easy since I just followed a 1:1 ratio. I also added more of the A Bonne Spa Milk Salt when I felt like it was too runny since I wanted to have a good balance of both the salt particles and the oil.

The Review

I chose to apply the DIY scrub right after rinsing off my body wash for some extra exfoliation. I found that the addition of the sunflower oil lessened the abrasiveness of the Spa Milk Salt and made it more gentle on the skin.

As I spread the scrub all over my knees, elbows, and legs, I found that the real ~*magic*~ occurred when I rinsed off the paste—my skin felt SO. FREAKING. SMOOTH. It also gave my body a nice sheen once I stepped out of the shower, plus it also helped my post-bath lotion apply smoothly. I'm definitely keeping this in my routine!
