Here's Why Fans Are *Convinced* Judy Ann Santos Is Starring In The 'A World Of Married Couple' Remake

Doctor Foster (also known in Korea as A World Of Married Couple) is officially getting a Philippine adaptation, and speculations about the cast have not stopped ever since ABS-CBN made the announcement! 

Why fans think it's Judy Ann Santos: 

On April 21, Dreamscape Entertainment released a teaser for the cast reveal, showing side-by-side photos of the female leads in Doctor Foster and A World Of Married Couple (Suranne Jones and Kim Hee Ae), and a black silhouette for the Pinoy version: "She is the Philippines' Doctor Foster. Guess who?"

Based on the ~silhouette~, many fans are declaring that "QUEEN JUDAY IS BACK!" Another reply to the tweet reads: "Nag-iisang reyna. Ang bigat ng mga eksena, si Juday lang nakikita ko na mabibigyan niya ng justice ang role ni Dr. Ji." The hashtag #JudayForDrFoster has also been a constant trend whenever there are social media posts about the remake.

Doctor Foster tells the story of a devoted mom and wife who seems to have a perfect family life—until she starts suspecting that her husband is having an affair. Chaos ensues when she discovers that he's actually cheating on her with a much younger woman.

Who's playing the mistress? 

Charlie Dizon, Julia Barretto, and Julia Montes seem to be fan favorites for the role of the mistress. Earlier this month, when asked about the casting rumors, Charlie said: "Actually, wala pa talaga sa akin nasasabi na ganoon...Nagugulat na lang din ako sa mga balitang lumalabas. Pero wala pa talaga." She admitted that she'd already seen the Korean version and that she would be interested in the role. Meanwhile, in September 2020, Julia said that her favorite character is Da Kyung and that she's a huge fan of A World Of Married Couple, adding: "But I want to be Da Kyung, the young girl. If you've seen it, you would know. She's the young girl there, she's so pretty."
