He also shared that even if he had been exposed to Angeli on the day the test results arrived, he never contracted the virus. Two of their household staff also had to recuperate from COVID.
"Three people got COVID in our home all at the same time but all are now negative," Gary continued. "I really really can’t thank you enough for all the prayers you sent our way."
A week ago, Angeli revealed on IG that she was in self-isolation because of the virus.
"Here I am isolated because I am COVID-positive," she shared, sharing a photo of her vitamins and medicines.

She also spoke about her faith that she and Gary will be able to overcome the challenge because they had been so much together already. Gary is especially at high risk for COVID since he has Type 1 diabetes, has undergone cardiac double bypass surgery, and he also used to have kidney cancer. Angeli also talked about being able to deal with a painful spine surgery back in 1986.
"Stay home," Angeli urged. "Wear a mask and a face shield. Wash [your] hands regularly. And even if you are family members, if you go out with 'swabbed' friends, do all these and practice social distancing!"
