Now 31, Bo Young has amassed a stellar list of acting credits in both TV and film, and has even earned the name ~Rom-Com Queen~ in South Korea! She took a brief break in 2020, but this year, she'll be making her comeback to the big and small screens with two huge projects.

Park Bo Young plays Tak Dong Kyung, an editor at a web novel publisher who lives an ordinary life until ~fate~ changes everything for her. Doom At Your Service premieres on May 9, 2021.

2. Concrete Utopia (Coming soon)

The plot: Yup, this one's a star-studded film! Park Bo Young co-stars alongside Park Seo Joon and Lee Byung Hun in Concrete Utopiaa thriller movie about "those who survived in a city that went to ruins after a massive earthquake destroyed all the concrete." Bo Young plays Myung Hwa, the warm-hearted wife of Seo Joon's character and is also a former nurse who cares for the injured.

3. Abyss (2019)

The plot: Fantasy fans, this one's for you! Here's the plot, according to Netflix: "A mysterious, mystical marble (aka the Abyss) brings Go Se-yeon (Park Bo Young) and Cha Min (Ahn Hyo Seop) back to life in entirely different bodies—one new and improved, the other not so much—but that doesn't stop them from meeting and falling in love."

4. On Your Wedding Day (2018)

The plot: This one might look like your typical light-hearted romance film, but be warned: It is one heck of a tearjerker! Park Bo Young plays high school transfer student Hwan Seung Hee and catches the eye + heart of Hwang Woo Yeon (Kim Young Kwang), a fellow student. Woo Yeon pines for Seung Hee over the years but the ~timing~ never was right! After many missed chances in the span of 10 years, the film starts when Woo Yeon receives an invitation to Seung Hee's wedding.

5. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017)

The plot: Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is part action, part romance, and part comedy! Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) has superhuman strengtha gift that she was born with and which all the women in her family possess. She somehow lands the job as a bodyguard of a gaming company CEO, Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik), and has to protect him from anonymous threats.

6. Oh My Ghost (2015)

The plot: In this ~horror + romance~ drama, Park Bo Young plays a shy newbie chef, Na Bong Sun, who has a secret crush on her boss, Kang Sun Woo (Jo Jung Suk). When Bong Sun gets ~possessed~ by a virgin ghost (yup, you read that right, LOL), she makes the moves on her boss and tries to hook up with him!

7. The Silenced (2015)

The plot: The Silenced, a critically acclaimed and award-winning film, is set during the Japanese occupation in Korea. Park Bo Young plays Ju Ran, a new student at an all-girls boarding school. All seems well on the surface until students mysteriously go missing. Park So Dam is also part of the cast as one of the students!
