8 K-Dramas To Watch After Work That Won't Stress You Out, Promise

After a long day at work, I would often search for K-dramas that don't need a lot of ~*braining*~: Think series that will make you feel good, laugh out loud, and relieve your stress. They're also bound to motivate you in some ways! These dramas have no evil villains involved so you don't have to come up with 99 theories on who the real killer is. Instead, you'll have a good night's sleep after watching them!

Below is our list of must-watch K-dramas on Netflix and Viu that you will look forward to after work:

1, Hospital Playlist (2020)

There's just so much to love about Hospital Playlist! It's not your typical medical drama with doctors in the hospital but a show that's so relatable, you'll be seeing yourself in one of the characters in no time. Plus, the OST is great, too! We swear, this drama will make you want to time out early at work just so you can watch all 12 eps.

2. True Beauty (2020)

Revisit your high school memories where life is not as demanding with True Beauty! This webtoon-adapted drama was a popular show when it was aired because the plot is simple yet it's sure to give you so much feels. 3. Mr. Queen (2020)

Looking for a series that will bring you to a ~different world~? Try tVN's Mr. Queen! The setting is in the Joseon period so you'll have a glimpse of what history is like. The K-drama follows the life of chef Jang Bong Hwan who suddenly got trapped in a queen's body after an accident. Sounds interesting 'no? Watch out for the super hilarious scenes like when the queen *twerked* under the rain!

4. Her Private Life (2019)

5. Welcome To Waikiki (2018)

Some of the memes you've probably seen on your Facebook feed are all thanks to Welcome To Waikiki! This includes the iconic "Gwaenchana, gwaenchana" and the red car named Rebecca. Welcome To Waikiki is just all fun and games so there's no need to exercise your brain once you binge-watch this. 6. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017)

What happens when you have extraordinary strength? You use it to help others! That's what Bong Soon did in this drama and she finds her life even more interesting when she became a bodyguard to a gaming company's CEO. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is the right amount of cute and kilig that's not too cheesy or corny, so it's just a totally wholesome show!

7. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2016)

Ito talaga 'yung K-drama na feel-good lang! 8. My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho (2010)

Who’s in it: Shin Min Ah, Lee Seung Gi

Before you encountered all the other K-drama gumihos, it was Mi Ho and Dae Woong who first made us believe that two different *creatures* can still have a happy ever after. When My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho was first aired in ABS-CBN in 2011, it gave birth to the "Gustong gusto talaga kita" hand gesture and became a craze! Although it's more than a decade, this drama remains to be a crowd favorite. You'll soon be adding this on your list, too!
