2020 was one crazy year, and I know we're all hoping 2021 won't follow in its footsteps. But if you like ~*fictional*~ crazy events, dramatic K-drama The Penthouse: War In Life (along with many popular shows from Korea and Thailand) is coming to local TV and will be airing on GMA-7 soon!
What is The Penthouse: War In Life about? This series, which is set to have a second season in 2021, focuses on the families living in a residential building for the uber-rich called Hera Palace. The moms, dads, and their children all have secrets to hide, and everything slowly *unravels* after every episode. Spoiler Alert: There's even a murder in the first five minutes alone! The drama stars Lee Ji Ah as Su Ryeon, "the queen" of the penthouse, Kim So Yeon as ~ruthless~ opera singer Seo Jin, and Eugene as Seo Jin's singing rival Yoon Hee.
The Penthouse's first season is wildly popular here in the PH, and it was even named the "Most Buzzworthy" drama in Korea for five weeks in a row! Yup, people were still watching it during the 2020 Christmas break.
