7 Jung Kyung Ho K-Dramas To Watch Because We Know You Love Him

Good day to you, K-drama fan. Here's a fun trivia: Did you know that actor Jung Kyung Ho's father is Jung Eul Young, a KBS Producer and the TV director of iconic K-dramas like Endless Love and My Husband's Lover? So cool, right?

Jung Kyung Ho is literally one of our favorite K-drama actors out there—he's SO talented!—so we've rounded up some of his best K-dramas to date, which you can watch on Netflix, Viu, and Viki:

1. Hospital Playlist (2020)

Where you can watch it: Netflix

We're just patiently waiting before we can finally watch the second season of Hospital Playlist because the first one had us binge-watching until 2 a.m, no kidding. It's that good! One of the best K-dramas of 2020! In this medical K-drama starring Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Dae Myung, Kyung Ho is an outspoken cardiothoracic surgeon who happens to be a sweetheart IRL (aka an ideal boyfriend).

2. When The Devil Calls Your Name (2019)

Where you can watch it: Viu

What happens when you sell your soul to the devil in exchange for fame and fortune? You get a handful of consequences. The 37-year-old actor transforms into a successful composer who had the best time of his life in When The Devil Calls Your Name—until his contract with the force of evil begins to expire. While I'm here, let me just say that Kyung Ho deserves all the major awards in South Korea because of his portrayal here. Why? Look:

3. Prison Playbook (2017)

Where you can watch it: Netflix, Viu

From the same director who oversaw Hospital Playlist (and Reply 1988!), Prison Playbook (Park Hae Soo, Krystal Jung, Sung Dong Il, Jung Hae In) chronicles the life of prisoners behind the bars. Here, Kyung Ho is prison guard Lee Joon Ho who is also the best friend of a baseball player who suddenly landed in prison.

4. Missing 9 (2017)

Where you can watch it: Netflix

Soompi describes Missing 9 as "a story about nine individuals who get stranded on an island following an unexpected plane accident." This is probably one of the hardest K-dramas to shot for Kyung Ho, since the cast members revealed that it felt like actually being stranded on an island. They said that they had to mostly eat canned tuna and rice, wear the same clothes for a lot of times, and film underwater.

5. Happy Once Again (2016)

Where you can watch it: Netflix, Viu

K-pop fans, you will love this rom-com drama: Happy Once Again tells the story of a first-gen girl group and how they changed as they age and fall in love. Kyung Ho amazes us once again with a totally different role as a gossip magazine reporter.

6. Beating Again (2015)

Where you can watch it: Viki

Also called Falling For Innocence, this JTBC drama focuses on Jung Kyung Ho as Kang Min Ho, who experienced the worst when his appa (father) dies and his uncle took over his dad's company. One day, he has a heart attack but manages to survive after an operation, and his life completely changes after.

7. Endless Love (2014)

Where you can watch it: Viki

Not to be confused with the Koreanovela of the same name in the early 2000s, Endless Love also stars Hwang Jung Eum and Ryu Soo Young. Set in the '90s, this K-drama shows how a woman, whom Kyung Ho's character is fond of, is willing to fight for her dreams and loved ones.
