But if you're a K-drama newbie who wants to experience that serotonin boost, we've rounded up 10 of the most nakakakilig and romantic TV series that will make you say, "Sana all." 1. True Beauty (2020)

Starting with the currently-airing K-drama that will leave you torn between the two male leads (Cha Eun Woo, Hwang In Yeop), True Beauty doesn't even need passionate kissing scenes to make us squeal in the middle of the night. Cute text exchanges and ~*stolen glances*~ are enough. And of course, the two very good-looking boys boys ~saving~ the girl makes us want to become a webtoon character,  too, sa totoo lang. It might sound like your typical Cinderella story but I swear—this webtoon adaptation will revive your cold, dead heart.

2. Fight For My Way (2017)

Three years later and we're still gushing over Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won)! This drama is about childhood BFFs who literally grow up together and navigate adulthood with each other. And did you know that Fight For My Way is actually based on a true story? That just adds to the appeal of it! We swear, ang intense ng kilig dito!

3. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim (2018)

Another Park Seo Joon-led K-drama but this time, the setting is in the office! His character, Lee Young Joon, is the vice-chairman of a big company who falls in love with his secretary (Park Min Young). Some would say that office romances lead to trouble, but hey, let us live in a fantasy world for a bit. Also, PSJ and PMY's steamy kissing scene has over 300 million views on YouTube, so you *know* people love this drama.

4. Extraordinary You (2019)

Probably one of the best high-school-themed dramas out there, Extraordinary You is another webtoon adaptation where the characters ~live~ in the world of comics. A few of them have realized who they are, including the main leads Eun Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon) and Haru (SF9's Rowoon). What's ~extraordinary~ about this series aside from Dan Oh looking for Haru wherever she may be (LOL, sorry Baek Kyung) is that the story is light, but the feelings you'll experience are so, so strong.

5. It's Okay, That's Love (2014)

One underrated K-drama that will give you all the ~*feels*~, It's Okay, That's Love brings us to the relationship of Jang Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung) and Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin). It doesn't only have the kilig —it has the kind of love that will not let deep-seated wounds and traumatic pasts get in the way of their future. 6. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2016)

If you want a K-drama na feel-good and masaya lang, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is your best bet. The coming-of-age series starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung didn't disappoint in making us giddy, and I know you will have the same sentiments once you watch this drama. It's cute, kinda relatable, and funny—your heart will burst into multiple uwus once you finish all 16 episodes, promise!

7. Descendants Of The Sun (2016)

Yoo Si Jin (Song Joong Ki) and Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo)'s tale as star-crossed lovers will provide a love lesson that's very relevant nowadays: It doesn't matter if you came from two completely different fields—what's important is how you can still make time for each other despite the many, many differences. Love is worth fighting for, you guys! That's what Descendants Of The Sun wants to relay, and it was able to do so successfully. Grabe yung kilig dito, promise!

8. My Love From The Star (2013)

What if the one that's meant for you is an alien from another universe? This might make you laugh but no lies detected here: My Love From The Star will send you dancing and laughing and crying because of Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Cheon Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun)! An iconic pair from an equally iconic series, this K-drama is a crowd favorite, and it deserves all the applause from around the world, or the universe, rather~.

9. My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho (2010)

If you were able to watch this on ABS-CBN and can remember how everyone's Facebook timeline was filled with "Gustong gusto talaga kitaii!", congratulations, we're old.  Before all the other gumiho dramas came, there was My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. The story is about a human being (Lee Seung Gi) who is willing to go through hell and high water for a mythical creature (Shin Min Ah), whom he was threatened by at first.

10. Princess Hours (2006)

A K-drama classic (or should I say Koreanovela), Princess Hours made our world go round when it was aired in ABS-CBN in 2013. The main characters Janelle (Yoon Eun Hye) and Gian (Ju Ji Hoon) have etched their names in the hearts of their Filipino fans and even after 14 years, it has remained to be a royal love story that no other dramas can top. Alexa, please play "Pag-Ibig Na Kaya" so we can all reminisce and sob together in a corner.
